A wide variety of recreational events and programs are offered throughout the Municipality of Clare each year.

Please verify our events calendar for the most up to date information about our programs.

The Terra Fondo is a mountain bike ride on Saturday, September 17, 2022 along the Rails-to-Trails multi-use system along with more challenging trails in the Acadian region of Clare. The approximate 68 km and 24 km routes wind through beautiful mixed forests with river and lake views, historic sites, a farmers' market, and a scenic coastal section. Route support and rest stops will be provided. This event is not timed.

Please note: A gravel bike could be used but a mountain bike is strongly recommended. There are parts of the trails that will be challenging for a gravel bike because of sand, mud and rocks. It will depend on your skill level and perhaps tire width.

After your ride, enjoy BBQ pork or vegetarian chili, salad, local Acadian music and charm at the Clare Golf and Country Club. Branded t-shirt included with registration (deadline: TBD.

Register early as this event has a 250 participant cap.

Refund Policy: 100% refund until September 3 at midnight (12:00 am AST).
