    Réanne Evans
    District 1

    Councillor Réanne Evans represents District 1 and was elected during the 2024 municipal elections. She is originally from Meteghan River, and now resides in Belliveau Cove. Councillor Evans sits on four committees including: Planning Advisory Committee, Personnel Committee, Western County Regional Library Committee, and Accessibility Advisory Committee. Outside of her Council duties, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors.

    Danny Hill
    District 2

    Councillor Danny Hill lives in Hilltown and represents District 2. First elected to Council in 2004, Danny is currently on five committees; Planning Advisory Committee, By-Laws Committee; Audit Committee; Highway 101 Task Force; and Weymouth Doctor Recruiting Committee. Outside his duties as Councillor, Danny likes to play softball, fish, hunt, camp and go four wheeling.

    Carl Deveau
    District 4

    Councillor Carl Deveau represents District 4 and was first elected to Council in 2016. He resides in the village of Saulnierville Station. He currently sits on five committees including: EMO Committee, Clare Firefighters Association, Wastecheck, Southwest Nova Biosphere Region Association, and Carleton River Watershed Area Water Quality Monitoring Steering Committee. In his spare time, he enjoys the challenges of the great outdoors by canoeing, kayaking and backcountry camping.

    Brian Comeau (1961–2025)
    District 5

    Councillor Brian Comeau represented District 5 from 2004 until his passing on June 29, 2025. A dedicated public servant for more than 20 years, he was known for his kindness, integrity, and deep commitment to the people of Clare. He was an active member of Council, serving on the Planning Advisory Committee, By-Laws Committee, Public Works Committee, and Audit Committee.

    Deputy Warden, District 6

    Deputy Warden Eric Pothier lives in Meteghan and represents District 6. He was first elected to Council in 2016 and is currently sitting on six committees; By-Laws Committee, Public Works Committee; Personnel Committee, Doctor Recruitment Committee, Police Advisory Board; and Accessibility Advisory Committee. Eric’s interests include sports, cooking, Acadian culture and spending time in the woods. He loves being involved with his community.
