Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, the Municipality of the District of Clare HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that Council adopted an amendment to the Building By-law at its Regular Council Meeting held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.

The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the provisions of the Building By-law and ensure consistency with the proposed revised Land-Use By-law regarding the use and permitted size of accessory buildings. Specifically, the amendment increases the maximum permitted size of accessory buildings from 144 square feet to 215.2 square feet.

The amended Building By-law may be viewed online at By-Laws. Copies are also available at the Municipal Office, located at 1185 Highway 1, Little Brook, NS, B0W 1M0, during regular office hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
