Access Awareness Week Nova Scotia takes place May 26 – June 1 this year. The Municipality of Clare will be celebrating on May 27^th with a Flag Raising at the municipal office, followed by a reception and then over to Seaside for Inclusive Bowling!

We are happy to be supporting this initiative from the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission to change the narrative for persons with disabilities by doing our part in raising awareness and acting on disability issues. 

May 27^th, 2024

Flag Raising Ceremony- 12:30pm

• Flag Raising & Speech by Nadine Comeau, Accessibility Awareness Committee Chair
• Followed by reception, and demonstration of our new wheelchair equipment.

Inclusive Bowling- 1:30pm

• The community is invited to join Inclusion Clare and Clare Rec at Seaside bowling lanes for inclusive bowling.
